Urad dal washed is black gram that has been split and had its black skin removed, which leaves the creamy white dal inside. Ours comes from the Malwa region of Madhya Pradesh, grown on farms that do not use chemical pesticides or insecticides. We sun dry it, sort it by hand and pack it in small batches.
