Bansi Wheat Atta
The golden grain of Malwa - a heritage wheat of Madhya Pradesh, grown long before high-yield varieties took over. The hard, amber bansi grain gives rotis a golden colour and a mild natural sweetness.
Grown on farms that do not use chemical pesticides or insecticides. Slow ground at low RPM to keep its aroma, in small batches for freshness. Tested for 180+ pesticides, including glyphosate. None detected. View the lab report (PDF)
Kneading tip
Bansi takes in more water than regular atta. Add water slowly, knead well and rest the dough for 20 to 30 minutes. The rotis will come out soft and evenly puffed.
